1. About FurMoria

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FurMoria platform, available at www.furmoria.com, operated by FurMoria B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands ("FurMoria", "we", "us"). By using our platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use FurMoria.

2. Our service

FurMoria provides an online platform for creating and hosting digital memorials for pets. We offer two tiers:

• Standard memorial — a one-time payment of €9.99 for a permanent memorial page.
• Premium memorial — a one-time payment of €19.99 for an enhanced memorial page with premium themes, galleries, and additional features.

All prices include 21% Dutch VAT (BTW). Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

3. Your account

To create a memorial, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately at hello@furmoria.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Be at least 16 years of age, or have parental consent if younger.

4. Content you upload

You are solely responsible for all content you submit to FurMoria, including photos, tribute text, and other materials. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use the content.
• The content does not infringe the copyright, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• The content does not contain offensive, illegal, misleading, or harmful material.
• You grant FurMoria a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

5. Payments & refunds

All payments are one-time and non-subscription. Once a memorial has been created and payment processed, we do not offer refunds unless:

• A technical error on our part prevented the memorial from being created.
• You request a refund within 14 days of payment and the memorial has not been publicly shared (your right of withdrawal under EU consumer law).

To request a refund, contact us at hello@furmoria.com with your order details.

6. Memorial availability

We aim to keep memorials available permanently. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will provide at least 90 days' notice before discontinuing the service, giving you the opportunity to export your memorial content. We are not liable for temporary downtime due to maintenance or technical issues.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use FurMoria to:

• Create memorials for people (not pets) without our express written consent.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from our platform.
• Engage in any activity that violates Dutch or EU law.

8. Intellectual property

All FurMoria branding, design, software, and original content (excluding user-submitted content) is the intellectual property of FurMoria B.V. and protected under applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, FurMoria is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific memorial in question.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your memorial pages will be taken offline within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands. As a consumer in the EU, you may also seek resolution through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FurMoria after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes.
